Guided Autobiography is a reflective and structured way of documenting your life stories with the support of a trained facilitator. Using carefully chosen themes and priming questions, the process helps you uncover memories and experiences that may have been pushed to the background or even forgotten over time.
Over five weekly sessions, you will take part in exercises that gently guide you into writing about your life and sharing those stories within a small, supportive group of like-minded participants. The themes explored are both universal and deeply personal, ranging from pivotal turning points, family and career, to health, identity, spirituality, and the aspirations that continue to shape your journey. Together, these themes form a framework that makes the writing process less daunting and more rewarding.
Research into the GAB process has shown that participants often emerge with greater self-acceptance, renewed energy, and a more positive outlook on others. Many also report feeling less anxious, more at ease, and deeply connected through the bonds of friendship and belonging that grow within the group.
